I am just a bit worried that at the start of the club 10 i do the guy who balances every one seems to push slightly over and that feels to me that i am going to fall off and i can't really relax my body when its my turn to start

Any tips or advice will be greatly appreciated

Decline the offer of the push off and start as you would for any other ride?

Practice with a friend (ideally a clubmate as then you won't have to teach them first). You will probably feel more comfortable if you are leaning a bit to the side you normally mount the bike and nervous when you lean to the other side so practice a bit with both types of lean and see how you feel.

When you start you will straighten up, it helps to practice enough times to realize this. Start off by just getting used to being held up and then try doing some starts.

Also it is acceptable to request the pusher-off at a time trial to adjust your position a bit if it makes you more comfortable- 'could you tilt me a little toward the kerb please?' or similar is fine.

I 'push off' quite a lot. If you're not happy with the angle just ask them to move you towards/away from them as required, and hold a brake on.

What @palinurus said, just ask them which way you want to go side to side etc. Once you've done it a couple of times you'll be fine, select a gear that you can easily pull away in before hand and get your pedal position right so you are ready to push one foot forward and round as soon as they count you down and let go!
You'll be alright stop worrying!

Ive been pushed off by loads of different starters and they all do a different thing . Some better than others but i think the trick is not to fight them by trying to lean the other way . Just relax , hold the brake on and get your feet into position to start . I think the pusher off has more concerns about dropping a rider than you do so they wont be taking it lightly .

A pusher-off holds the bike at the balance point. If you lean towards him he will push the bike away to maintain balance. If you straighten up the bike will move to vertical as if by itself. To give yourself confidence don't clip in until you've tried it.
