Where about in Fife are you? I've got an old frame sitting in my parents shed in Dunfermline. The Forks and front wheel are knackered from a crash but I believe the frame is OK and it had a new block and chain fitted just before the crash but that was over a year ago. Would that be of interest to the charity?

Bikeworks is situated at 135/136 Whitehill Industrial Estate in Glenrothes. We take donated bikes and either scap these or if possible, refurbish the bikes and sell them to the public at affordable prices. Oh yes, and we provide work experience for people with disabilities and the long-term unemployed while we are about it.
I'm sure that we would be interested in your frame but it might have to wait until we had several in your area before it would be economical to travel and pick it up. It's good of you to offer.

My budget for a hybrid was £250, however I have just started a part time Uni course and thus that a student card so my local bike shop is offeing me 10 per cent off so I can now look for a bike that is up to around £280, plus they offered me 10 percent of my bikes cost in assessories and 10 per cent off any thing else I purchase
