Help - Constant splitting tubes at valve shaft !!

Thanks Dwiggy. I've always used a track pump but my son, who no longer lives at home, doesn't have one. I bought him one this week as I think over vigorous use of the hand pump is the most likely cause.

I'll lok for some velo rim tape. Tyre off AGAIN!!
