Help buying a bike

hey can i get your advice in choosing a bike, i am comparing between

State city single speed bike :The Elliston : City Bikes & Dutch Bicycles | State Bicycle Co.
i am not sure is 6ku a good brand , i like that its has speed but if state is better bike i can sacrifice the speeds?

What's the terrain like where you live? Is it incredibly flat or are there hills? What use do you intend making of the bike (distances, purpose, will you be carrying stuff, will it be dark)? Things like that will be useful to help shape the decision making process.

These are both city bikes, in other words their intended use is short distance commuting or shopping. Both feature steel frames made in China or elsewhere in the far east. The State has no gears, just a single one so you won't be able to comfortably tackle steep hills. Apart from that they are both much of a muchness.

Not aware of these brands but you could ask someone like @Gravity Aided who lives in the US.
