Is there any point of buying a expensive bike helmet which cost from £70 upwards. I have a cheap Bell helmet from Halfords is there any difference?
It looks like it cracked - which is not what you want something supposedly cushioning from doing as the cracks render the system completely ineffective for that purpose.
Yip. I'd rather have a cracked helmet than a cracked head!Maybe it did not crack until it had absorbed a lot of pressure.

I don't think anything, I know that by taking the impact it saved my skull from potentially a very serious injury.
