Helmet

I'd like to have more next summer. I'd have them inverted, filled with compost and potted with petunias and lobelia.

They'll look lovely hanging outside.

Two at least ought to be a minimum for the simple reason of one having got a soaking in the rain.

I have two. One, a 'normal' one for days out and t'other a thick shell BMX type for local commuting as alluded to previously, pretty much anything around town that I'm likely to come in contact with is going to be hard - !

I've got three.
A normal giro road helmet, a TT helmet with long tail and a "hairnet" track helmet, last worn in 1969.

Had to go and find it, and I found it ...

And here I am wearing it at Bootle track. The only time I ever rode on a track.

I have 2. One is here oop north to wear on northern rides. The other is left down in Devon with the rest of my Devon cycling kit. (No point in carting stuff back and forth 4 or 5 times a year!)

Ah. I keep mine safely in a cupboard, so it never gets wet, or even dirty - other than a few cobwebs.
