Hello first post and i would appreciate some help!!
What order of preference would you put these bikes to help a newbie get back on a bike again. This is for keeping up with the kids and to get a bit fitter after given up smoking!!

Scott Sportster 55
Giant Roam 2
Giant Roam1
Trec Kaitai
Trec 7300
Specialized Crosstrail Sport Disc
GT Transeo 3.0 Disc
Felt QX80D

or is there something else i should be looking at budget around £400-£600

What sort of terrain are you going to be riding on as those bikes will be a nightmare on the road.

Hello

I'm going to try use it most evenings on the road and country lanes for the fitness part and weekends on the rougher ground with the family, thats why i was looking at a sport hybrid.

Just been into the local shop and he tell's me that the Specialized Crosstrail Sport Disc is out of stock and because they are doing the 2012 update in August - is that true.
