Be interested to know if you have set off a GATSO on your bike? There was a web site some time ago where cyclists where filming the GATSO activation.

In all honesty - yes !

BUT: I didn't trigger it for speed - just for going thru' the lights prior to the road to the side starting off...

A guy I work with has also triggered a GATSO on his cycle. Hacking down the road on his De Rosa!

No; any time I've went faster than 35mph I've been in a national speed limit (60mph) zone.

They've just fitted 'rumble strips' next to the one 'slow down' flashing sign.
I won't be setting it off anymore.

GATSOSs are triggered by something like a radar beam. They take two pictures and the marks on the road allow the Police to calculate your speed between the flashes.

Truevelos are operated by a sensor in the road.
