No I haven't, but I think I should and up my game. A couple of years ago I moved and visited the town now local to me. I sat on a bench outside M and S to watch the world go by (unbeknownst to me it was the bench the winoes frequent). A man came up to me and said something, but I only caught the words "cup of tea" so I presumed he was asking for money and I replied "no thanks, I don't have any cash", he said "no, I'm offering to buy you a tea"!!!
I am generally pretty scruffy, I've been mistaken for a gardener, builder etc over the years.

Jeans, t-shirts, half-zip fleeces and either walking shoes, karting boots or crocs have formed the mainstay of my wardrobe pretty well much since the mid-to-late 90s. I'm a practical kind of girl.

But prior to that, the less said about clothing the .

That would've been much simpler...

I'm just thinking of some of the awful things I wore in the 80s and early 90s. Even worse, I thought I was cool... Puffball skirts, jelly shoes, shell suits, jeans with rolled up legs, saggy blazers, extremely LOUD knitwear, head-to-toe stonewashed denim... I even had (at one point) a mullet FFS!

I still have two 'baggy/boxy' shirts I bought in the early/mid 1980's. Will I ever wear them again?🤔 Er, most likely not!

I suppose black is always in fashion.

UK outdoor gear such as trousers only came in black for a long time. You’d visit the alps and see all the colourful choices on the continent. Fortunately there’s a much wider choice of colours for outdoor clothing now.

I've never worn a skirt. Even for the Spice Thjngs tribute act.
Anyway, does that make me unfashionable? I do hope so
