To me a spoiler is giving away a letter or a meaning.
We’re not in lockdown wordle competitions anymore.

As usual I can't remember what today's word was.

I got it in 5, with the knowledge that is was a very unusual word, my 50/50 choice would have been the word I did not recognise as a word, and I would have scored 4.

No. I had the last four letters which gave me limited options for the first letter. Tried all three and none yielded the correct answer. There was only one letter left that could possibly be used, even if it did make up a word that was unknown to me.
