Any idea what happens if you have the puzzle open but unsolved as the clock passes midnight? I wonder if it would still accept an answer after that.

Okay, as sad as it probably makes me, it's experiment time. Obviously I know the answer having done it earlier, but I've opened it on another machine, and I've put a couple of lines in. I'll add the answer at 00:05 and see what happens.

Nice. Just a 7 for me, and a 5 on Wordle.

I was thinking that perhaps it would be good to have a separate non-spoiler thread for games which are not the original wordle. I often feel I'd like to post more stuff from Squareword, Guess4, Sixty-fourdle, Waffle and the like but I don't want to interrupt the flow here too much.

Unless someone points out to me during the course of tomorrow why this is a bad idea I'll kick off the thread.

It's a nice idea. I usually do Squareword, Waffle, Quordle and Clickword.

Always enjoy Waffle and Clickword where my best is 403
