1st time I have taken all 6 goes. Trouble is, even with the last 4 letters known, I could still think of three words that I hadn't tried, so only ahd a 1 in 3 chance even on that 6th go.

I considered that but couldn’t think of a word that encompassed enough of the remaining options, so I just carried on with my poke and hope strategy.

I managed to get three of the remaining five possible starting letters into the number 4 guess, which left me with two options and two goes. Really I should've gone with my hunch at #4 (which was correct), but actually I'm happy with a few Fives as I've got a pointless obsession with the Threes overtaking the Fours.

I had the same problem. Hard mode doesn't allow use of words which today would have been great for eliminating several possibilities.
