What happens when all five letter words are exhausted, will they get recycled?

It's a particular problem on the Welsh version as there are not loads of five letter words. In fact I failed at the word yesterday as I just could not think of a word to fit my existing letters. In desperation I stuck any word in just to see the answer and the creator had actually used two words, a two letter and a three letter and stuck them together!!

According to Wikipedia there are 2309 words in the Wordle dictionary. So 996 rounds left.

Edit: Then we’ll all have to learn Welsh!

Repeating words shouldn't be a big deal at all. I can't remember what today's word was 10 minutes after doing the game. Even wordlers with super memories would be limited to a few months worth.

And would it affect game play anyway?
