Had my Cannondale SS Evo 105 about 2 months and have been getting a, starts off with on click on drive side just after 12 o'clock position, then progressively gets louder and louder to the point if i was going past you, you would hear it, then it starts to click clack, then if i go down a hill then put the power back on it dissapears, done all the hands off the handlebar,s out of seat and its either the BB or new Shimano 550 pedals which are 3 weeks old and there is a bit of up and down play, surely the pedals wouldn't be so loud would they?, had a new seat everything all greased tightened, if the BB has gone which ones would i best be buying, don't mind paying cant be bothered going warranty route as it was mail order, would rather pay for ones that last, im going to change the pedal over but weather dependent, just want some feedback.

BB30 isn't the most durable standard.

Andsaw doesn't want to do this as he bought the bike mail-order. Obviously hard to diagnose from my armchair (or yours!) but in my experience noises like that are often dry pedal spindles.
I find my BB30 is encoraged to be quieter and smoother with a bit of GT85 squirted on the axle. I know the bearings are sealed, but it does seem to help.

Cannondales use a slightly wider bb30, bb 30 as standard rather than pf 30 afaik .

A 'continuous carbon' layup is used on the EVO's PressFit30 bottom bracket shell

BB30 is a standard, not a bearing.

The actual bearing are normal sealed bearings, but ensure they are not cheap chinese ones, get a decent quality one.

FWIW, Dale and Spesh (BB30 & OSB30) are the same.
