It seems very common, I've had this problem for years, when I close my eyes I can see the road and the day just keeps going round in my head, if it's too bad I have some relaxation stuff on the MP3 player that I use, it normally gets me down enough to drop off, its Binaural Beats stuff, all I hear when I'm listening to it is the sound of rain.
