Even though I went to Liverpool Polytechnic in the 80's, it served as a student overspill from Lancaster University, so I graduated from there, despite not actually ever visiting it.

I've just had to look on the map to see Lancashire boundary. I'm sorry to say that I've never been to the county. I have driven through it (on the M6 on the way to Penrith) but don't think we've even stopped there for a wee. One day when the kids are grown up, we will have time to explore more of the UK

I was born in Lancashire and moved to Cheshire in 1974, without actually moving anywhere.
