To kill off all the nasty germs and fungus' that can store itself in your sweaty gloves or mitts, pop the gloves into a freezer bag, seal it up, and pop it in the freezer for a day or two.

I do it regularly with motorcycle gloves

Freezing doesn't kill bacteria; it slows down the reproduction and growth. Any bacteria in your gloves will become active again when removed from the freezer. Wash 'em you mucky pup.

Freezing pillows and children's soft toys for about 24hours will kill fleas and house mites, but not bacteria..........

I put our bed pillows in the freezer a few times a year to kill any house mites.....

However......leaving them out on a bright sunny summer day does. Anyone want to take a punt as to why?
