As a slight aside - when I set the table if I do it all from one side I have trouble setting the opposite side with the forks and knives on the correct sides
I always have to make a deliberate attempt to look at them and then look at the ones on the other side and make them different
If I am in a hurry or distracted then one side of teh table often ends up set up left handed

Anyway - back to the point!

The GLW is very right handed but she eats left handed - !

I'm the same, knife in left hand when eating with both a knife and fork. In my right hand if just using a knife, eg to chop, butter toast. Fork and spoon in right if being used alone, if using spoon and fork together, I get very confused!

To be fair, eating left handed in India/Nepal can cause you to be viewed with great disdain or suspicion.

Or anywhere in the Muslim world, because it's bad form to eat with the hand that's normally used to wipe your backside.

I do fail to see the logic personally, as I'm left-handed, but always wipe my bum with my right hand.
