Hand Pump which actually works

Not sure what type of tyre the OP wants to inflate.

As a bike shop mechanic said to me, the fatter the tyre, the fatter the pump you need to inflate it.

I found this out the hard way recently when my Blackburn Air Stick wouldn't put more than about 20psi in 20" balloon tyres.

Presta valves my friend. Another new pump purchased and will see how that works or doesn't. Got the Mini Morph as suggested by one of the contributors.

Road Drive is no good for car valves. You want a Lezyne HV for that though I see the Sport Drive HP is available from Chain Reaction in a car valve version.

and car valves don't got no place on a bike imo.
