3 or 4 if it's actually swollen and inflamed, do after the physio exercises especially. No more than 20 minutes at a time. Always wrap the ice pack or peas in a tea towel, don't give yourself an ice burn as I did not too long ago!

Also if elevating knee, supper under shin/foot not knee

Why are you not planning on moving? Immobilisation is bad for joints! Go have a walk or a swim

Oh I just mean't I won't be getting off my arse to do anything too strenuous :biggrin:
