I think some people go to gyms for the social aspect of it. A bit of support/encouragement from other gym users. Solitary exercising can be a lonely business., be it cycling or anything else,
t might be worth asking? The reduction I would get is nearly £55 a year.
Then I joined the big one that went bust (cant recall the name) but eventually that became dirty eg chewing gum in the bottle holder-still there weeks later.
I was watching some YouTube vids today about fools using gyms and i cannot understand how many idiots are not using equipment correctly.
You've shattered all our illusions right there, that Drago the Mighty would need strength lessons, how will we ever reconcile this?I'm quite lucky at the mo. Daughter #3 is going out with a pro rugbyist who's also a qualified strength and conditioning coach, so I get my lessons free.
One movement of the equipment then 2 minutes gawping at the phone (and repeat) is the norm where I go.I was watching some YouTube vids today about fools using gyms and i cannot understand how many idiots are not using equipment correctly.
Great if you don't have much time I suppose, but personally I detest exercising indoors so they're not for me I'm afraid. I did join one and lasted around 6 weeks. Too hot and stuffy for me. Give me the outdoors. Even a walk in the rain is preferable to being stuck inside.
