This morning I put in my order for a Scott CR1 from LeisureLakesBikes with a big grin on my face
I got an e-mail confirming my order and it is being processed,and then later on I received an e-mail saying sorry we no longer stock the bike you ordered would you like an alternative or a refund.
So i phoned them up with out the grin this time and asked why they have taken my money for a bike they no longer sell with which they replied there sorry that's the way the system works and I've got to wait 3 days for a refund so that's the 1st and last tome I use them

Hopefully, you told them that? I'd also mention that you were passing the information on to warn other people about it!

Ive always thought they were a bit on the expensive side and never bought anything from them anyway.

I nearly went with them for my latest ride, they seemed helpful enough on the phone but in the end I went elsewhere.

The gutting thing is I was gonna get the F6 from Wiggle but the offer finishes tomorrow and my other option was the Boardman carbon but Halfrauds have put it up £200 so I'm now looking at Ribble bikes.

Keep an eye on the Halfords website, they often put the price up on bikes for a month or so before then discounting them again on sale with "save 20%" or whatever!

After 3 days I finally got my money back and this morning I ordered the Felt F6 from wiggle.
I was on the laptop waiting for the money to be put back into my account and it came with 4 hours of the wiggle Christmas sale left so I got a £1500 Felt for £1350!

They did that to me as well.

Accept I had paid my deposit, aranged a collection date and turned up on the correct day in person.

They had sold it.

This is and few other acts of cockendery is why L/L will never again get my money.

TBH it's been a couple of years since i was last there. But then they knocked a few quid off the total price of the bits n bobs I was buying, and clipped some reflectors onto a set of pedals that orig. didn't have any.
