PS somewhere in my loft I've got Faust's So far/ it's a bit of pain on a 45 rpm single. Bought in 1972 (or 73?). Haven't got a record player now

Well krautrock's hardly a guilty pleasure but there's a limit to how much monotonous drumming and guitar noodling I can take - I quite like that one though.

Give Outside The Dream Syndicate by Tony Conrad with Faust a go Uncle Mort, see how you get on with that, plenty of monotonous drumming only with much viola noodling instead of guitars. I like it.
