If you go the The Factory Shop, they occasionally have a cheapo version of GT85/WD40 which smells quite nice. I bought a can for about £1.

I'm curious - do you really get through that much of the stuff? If so, what do you use it for and how frequently?

A can lasts me at least 18 months. Probably means I don't ride enough

It's a shared deal between three other cyclists, my son and two friends, since all the bikes are serviced by myself at my house it seemed a good idea to buy them in a little bit of a bulk buy.

Should the weather conditions be a little wet and sloppy (road crap) the mechs and dérailleurs are given a light dusting as well as the clipless pedals before we set off. After any ride, the bikes are washed down, left to dry and a GT85 soaked rag is rubbed over the frames, wheels, cables ready for our next outing.

So as you can understand one can doesn't last long between four regularly used bikes.

I left two GT85 chains hanging in the airing cupboard last night... the kitchen smelt wonderful this morning.

I wonder if AmbiPur will consider doing a new scent?

You'd have had change from a £20 in Halfords:whistle:

I prefer the trigger jobbies - works great as an underarm spray, but If I'm going out on the pull, I'll whip the top off and 'splash it on all over'

I find that the water dispersant properties of GT85 are the perfect cure for cycling related problems like betty swollocks and army sweatpits.
