GT85 smells quite nice. I realise that its use is controversial but can it be used as a deodorant?

Yes it can, but it makes the tiles on the toilet floor slippery

WD40 is a water repellent so that should be good for a deodorant smells nice too

I am so glad it's not just me!!! I insist the bikes are GT-85'd in the living room so my house smells of it!!! Lol

It's a common joke at work that the cycle crew all use gT85 as aftershave.
I love the smell.

Its well documented that people use WD40 as remedy for joint pain, its been in The Sun newspaper FGS. and I prefer its smell.

GT85 is good for many things but deodorant isn't one of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Long term application of light, easily-absorbed hydrocarbons to the under arm area would definitely not be a good idea at all and the perfume is probably non-compliant for a leave-on product and might irritate your skin.

I'm curious - do you really get through that much of the stuff? If so, what do you use it for and how frequently?

A can lasts me at least 18 months. Probably means I don't ride enough
