Just give my bike a good wash and clean then cleaned and re-lubed the chain with chain oil.

Am i ok to spray GT85 over the cogs/rear mech and all moving parts, apart from the chain itself

Thanks

There is no need to spray your cogs - the lube on the chain is sufficient. Sprayng all over the cogs will lead to a bacxl mess adn gunge build up and rsiks spraying over your wheel too. When lubing mechs all yuo need to do is a spot of lube on the pivot points and springs not necessary to plaster it all over!

Yes, If you want to.
its fine to spray throughout the road bike except for the obvious places like rims and brake blocks but wont harm them longterm
Its good for driving out water, provides a protective film on the frame etc

I tend to spray it on the cogs after they've got soaked in rain for the water protection, but other than that yeah, they don't need lubing.

Exactly, at least in Aldi you don't have to buy anything else, though if you can get past the biscuit/chocolate/cake aisle you're a better man than me :hungry:

+1 its amazing what happens just that peckish side comes out of you

It can form a nice layer for protection a bit like varnish I hear. I wouldn't waste it on spraying all the parts, more like on a rag after a ride then mickle the chain till it requires a new oil dabbing.
