GT85 every ride? Relube the chain whenever it rains?
People, people, people...*shakes head sadly*
Get some decent chain lube, and Mickle every few weeks / months.
I'm shocked at you all. I'm not cross, just very, very disappointed.

...and if you put your bike on a turbo trainer you can use it to chop up firewood.

you could even , theoretically for a few minutes at least, cycle on the firewood ;)

in addition to spraying with GT85 every time I go out (as in out on the bike...........) I use a Park Tool chain cleaner with their biodegradable cleaning fluid every month or so.

nope it has a anti pick up content , well thats what it says on the tin. if you mickle it properly then there isn't a lot of oil anyway
+1 Since the beginning of the year I have been using chainsaw oil and like it a lot so far.

I find it attracts less dirt than other oils that I've used, which is good as I often ride on muddy lanes and unsurfaced tracks. It also seems to capillary well into the insides of the chain and stays put once it is in there.
