If you like Groundhog Day can I recommend Palm Springs (Amazon), it has a similar premise but it stands on its own. Its also very funny ^_^

What a nightmare it would be

Re-living Andie MacDowell's acting - over and over

Oh. Contraversial to suggest faults with well-loved/popular films.
Who would you have to portray Rita?

Surely you wouldn’t try and become better, to keep it going forever? You’d just follow every choice to see where each leads.

That girl you never asked out at school, well this time you will.
The job opportunity you didn’t chase, well this time you will
That fixed energy cost you didn’t go for, this time you will
That bet you didn’t place, this time you will.

An interesting novel along those lines is this one

I remember when I 1st saw it, soon after release, in Kingston-Upon-Thames, an afternoon showing. I'd bunked off work (actually, self employed but same difference). It really struck a chord with me at the time, clicked I guess you could say (must have been where I was 'at' at that time of my life) and I've rated it highly ever since, even though it's never done the same thing for me on subsequent viewings. I'm sure that's somehow pertinent/apposite.

Well, you say that but:
- I will always think of Murray when I hear Sonny+Cher. And

puts a grin on my face just thinking of it.

Bill Murray's finest hour (sorry, Lost in Translation people)
