It's a very rewarding job I find.

But it explains why they supplied it ... which had had my son and myself pondering what it was for!!! It does say in the article that you don't have to use it.

I think Lizardskin tape is highly regarded.

Looks great, feels great and lovely colours but wore through on the tops of the bars behind the hoods in about 3 weeks. Still worked ok, but I was not impressed

Just bought some Deda Mistral from Evans, very nice if you like the leather look.

I just use Cinelli cork tape, have also used Fizik Microtex in the past but prefer basic cork tape, goes on well, looks fine, is comfortable and is cost effective.
