To pick up on an earlier point Patrick - Why have you gone on holiday to a country that looks just like Wales?

Plus ça change... ;)

Has Stevens Jnr persuaded you to check into the Hilton yet?

You missed Redders being pleased with some mysterious booze that found its way to him...

Hope you are having a good time "mate"

Ahem, my son tells me that such vehicles are called a shagging wagon, or something even ruder.

The weather cleared sufficiently for an eight hour walk through thick forest to a viewpoint over the Franz Joseph glacier. Unfortunately it was in thick cloud, but I had some good views from lower down.

I was swimming in Lake Wanaka this afternoon while looking up at snow capped mountains. If I'd done that in Wales they'd be dredging the lake for my body.

I have a friend from NZ named Patrick, but he's not there. He's here. I'm not sure how many species of bird he's seen.

I love Wanaka! Have you been to the Cinema yet? Freshly baked cookies in the interval.

P&L has been subdued while you have been on your travels.

The good news is that at the current rate of progress most of the economy will have been socialised by the time you return so there will be plenty for you to get your teeth into.

Are you sure thats what they said it's called, or did you ask "What's that?" and they replied "Thats the Lake, W*****"

Not jealous at all by the way.
