Greatest Guitar Riffs evah evah evah!

Anyone who can bang a tune out on a guitar is doing better than me .
A few years back I jumped on the bandwagon of getting a ukulele - folk saying how easy it was to learn and play. It was like torture, and to keep domestic harmony I practiced alone. Never got beyond 'You are my Sunshine' - supposed to be easy for beginners.
Am convinced now I must be tone-deaf. Anyways, the dreaded thing is hidden away in a cupboard, in the unlikely event of having another go.
So, to all those folk that can play an instrument, I take my hat off to you :notworthy:

No Sunshine of Your Love?

No Killing in the Name?

No We're an American Band?

And Sultans of Swing, as superb as it is, is all rhythm punctuated with licks, no riff at all.

These people know nothing, and they're neither studensmof rock nor musicians tnemselfes. They should be cast forth into Hades where they will be forced to listen to Spandau Ballet for all time as penance for their ignorance.

Thankyou, dear Drago, for properly taking the bait here. And with passion. 👍

The rest of you just aren't trying ...

This is the one where I'm going to show my ignorance take Sky's bait:
Great record, but who can remember a riff from it??

(Contrast with Seven Nation Army ... i rather like the White Stripes, but any pleasure from that ditty is cruelly hammered out of me every time I watch football broadcast from abroad ... )
All I can think of is a huge crowd singing.

Oooh Jeremy Corbyn.
Oooh Jeremy Corbyn.

That one and Stairway to Heaven!!

I'd substitute "Smoke on the Water" for "Burn" (Mk3 Deep Purple).

1995 Rainbow/Blackmore version ^_^

As voted for by Sky Arts viewers. Who they?

I've previously posted definitive proof there's absolutely no culture on Sky.
