That was the most fun ever on a bike ^_^

(I have to compare that to these god damn hills were I live)

Just went a nice easy pace round the course and finished 34th in my age group,234th overall with a time of 57.04

Then rode back to my in laws a few miles away (all uphill as well )

Absolutely fantastic and I'm over the moon to find I got 626 overall with 19th in my age group (55-59). 2.45.21 never ridden so far so fast!!!

Do we know how many did the 52?

Will be back.

I tweeted that question to the organiser. Not much good knowing you're 700th if you don't know how many took part, it could have been 700 out of 702!

Just took part in the 26, very good fun a shame I was to exhausted to look at the view. I think most of the fast people must have started quite early as they had formed pace lines as they went past ahead on the other side of the carriageway when it took me 15 minutes to get to the start. If you look at the time you probably have a higher place than you think; Many of the times on the 26 have 1 hour first lap and 6 minute second lap, I'm guessing they abandoned the second and walked back.

In hindside I finished quite well so probably should have entered the 52, then again the 8am start would have meant I my have faleen asleep half way. In the 26 there were some very nice bikes I saw, even one with full dura ace.

Also what message does giving away toothpaste send about Manchester?

I'm chuffed with 131st in my age group

What was your time Garz?

It was 2hrs 35 Gaz. I guess all those that got caught up in the first lap could knock a few mins off that time. The front group including some Manchester Wheelers would not have experienced the same issue.

Maybe we could get a list of all the CC peeps that entered the courses and list the times.

Feed station at Old Trafford had jelly babies, Jaffa cakes, bananas, water and powerade drinks. Not just a little but crates of them all, very well organised too

WAAA! I only figured out where the entrance to that was as I passed it on the last lap! and by that point if I had gotten off I wouldn't have started again! Agreed, very well organised

Feel really proud of myself zooming round on the 26 miler on my mountain bike, feel I rather cheesed off a fair few guys on road bikes I overtook. Finished 73rd timewise, 1:19, wishing that perhaps I could've done the 52 in a reasonable time had I had a road bike. Deffo going to do it next year, what a great experience!

2hrs 16 mins for me. Enjoyed the ride but i don't think the Salford Quays section was a good idea at all. Too technical and can't see the purpose of including it in the route at all.

Absolutely stupid sending you through there. They could have just stuck to Wharfside Way & Trafford Wharf Road.

Wonder how many cyclists we will see on the Mancunian Way in the next few months - probably at the dead of night trying to beat a Strava segment.

Glad all seemed to enhoy it. Was in Manc this afternoon and there were a few bikes buzzing around.
