Isn't it obvious? They lock them at night just to annoy anyone wanting to cycle through Earlham Cemetary in Norwich rather than ride along the dual-carriageway ring road or ride down to go up the Edinburgh Road slope.

I am OK with the idea of legions of the undead rising from graves and staggering about trying to bite folk to infect them with zombie virus, with the ultimate aim of turning all the human race into the walking dead.....but zombies that can actually run and jump, thats taking it too far, I've never heard such nonsense

Main gates were locked, chain & lock, with the lock facing in. But the entrances, dry stone walling, for a single person remained unblocked

Well as zombies have not yet seemingly mastered walking, I guess they locked the main gate for health and safety reasons in case any of them decide to try and drive off campus. That and to prevent doggers driving in maybe

Hmm you're right, you've got me banged to rights I've not thought this through. It must be one of the Dad zombies locking gates to prevent 17 year old named driver zombie borrowing Dad's car and taking it off reservation, risking totaling it and ending Dad's 135 year no claims bonus.

A council building where I worked at a few years ago, in the midst of all the budget cuts, went and fitted gates to the exit. Quite clever really, cos thieves would be able to drive in via the entrance, but wouldn't be able to get out...
