I love mine. And you can get them in 28mm width now

Yep I run the Roubaix on 28mm, and the Allez on 25mm. I can not feel any difference in speed or rolling resistance. The Roubaix feel more planted and stable, but the Roubaix is a better bike so it's hard to tell if it's the tyres that are the difference.

That's an interesting site. I wonder how they measure the puncture resistance?
GP4000IIs certainly come out looking good for rolling resistance

GP 4 Seasons looks like a great all-rounder if those charts are to be believed.

One puncture test was to apply a sharp object at a certain force then time how long it takes to penetrate the tyre .

Possibly at least in part because of your current tyre choice?!

GP4000IIs generally get rated as the best road tyre out there by the press. A couple of blokes in my riding group have stopped using them because of issues with the side walls bulging.
I had thought of that TBF. But I normally ride a strong secondary, well away from the gutter. I'd hope that minimises the chance of visits from the fairy anyway.

I do the same.

I've had 23mm GP4000S on the roadie for 4000 miles, and they are still going strong. No punctures (though I'm not prone to them anyway), no issues.

I can't compare them to gators as iv never ridden those.
Before riding on GP4000's I could never tell the difference between any tyres at all. Having ridden a set now I can honestly say I felt a huge difference straight away. Very smooth and they seem to roll a hell of a lot better.
Thinking about 4 seasons next tho, just to try them out

From reading around GP 4000's seem to be the holy grail of: Lightweight, low rolling resistance, good grip and good p*ncture resistance. I think it's a pretty safe bet that they will be far superior to Gatorskins in all aspects apart from ultimate fairie protection.
I have used GP 4000 for a number of years, but this winter decided to fit Gators. IME, the GP 4000 are much better tyres, but are more prone to punctures. I am now riding on lanes in the chalk and flint lands north of Portsmouth and needed better protection.

Am running 28c 4 seasons after a poor experience with Vittoria open pave and find them slightly bouncy to ride, but roll well enough and haven't had any slippy moments to date. The faerie protection has been very good over some smoggy and flinty roads. As an all round fast winter/Audax tyre it seems to fit the bill.
