Mr Crud for mudguards... he does a few different types, I've got the racepac which is "lighter" but really they all cost about twenty quid a set...

Lights, all depends how much you are going to spend, which SHOULD depend on what night-riding you'll do and where. You can easily spend £300 on lights.

Stand - I wouldn't bother but it's horses for courses.

Cheers and enjoy!

For front lights, I recommend saving some cash and get some CREE 900 lumen torches from eBay with rechargeable batteries. Cheap and most can zoom in and out. I have one on spotlight and one on flood. Does the job well.

Isn't the (Giant?) Roam XR2 a hardtail mountain bike?

Oliver's pump is a good pump IMHO (I have one too) but you may want the mountain version like this - link

I personally wouldn't fit a stand (practice propping it up with one pedal on a curb ) as I don't think you need one.

As for guards and lights, what are you looking at doing with the bike? If it's mainly road stuff in town (under streetlights) then a couple of be-seen lights like smart superflash lights might be all you would need, and full mudguards would be good.

If you are looking at bombing down forest tracks then better lighting and crud-catcher style mudguards may be better.

If you just need lights to be seen on town streets with streetlights at night then some very cheap flashing LED type will be fine.I use two front and two or three at the back.

If riding on unlit roads you need a decent fixed front light for dodging potholes, if you plan on going off road at night you will need a really good front light.

I have never had a side stand and allways seem to manage.

Good Luck and enjoy the bike.
