Got my new bike

Picked up my new bike last Saturday, I eventually decided on the boardman Comp 2011. Halfords despite the reputation was really my only choice given my cycle to work vouchers and nothing else can touch the bike specification for the price you pay.

As stated the set up and fine tuning of the bike isnt great but the bike is there, fortunatley i have a neighbour who maintains cycles for a living so he has tweaked it for me.

I managed my first commute to work today a total of 21 miles, my god it does'nt half shift, I am well impressed... the commute especially my journey going has some severe hills and managed it in about 46 minutes, the return journey I did in 32 minutes, not much difference than the car journey.

Loved the commute, it was like being on a roller coaster.... just im hyper now and cant sleep.

Nice bikes, and glad you have someone to tune it up. Worth learning to do it yourself.

Nice i was looking at them as well , i will probably go for the race though when C2W kicks off, although its a bit cheaper the basic bikes is the same but is sora rather than apex and i can live with that as i am used to the set up from my virtuosso .

The vituosso will then be the commuter and sell off the TDF .
