Here it is. Only been on the rollers cos it's tipping down out there and that saddle is nowhere near as comfy as my Brooks, but god it feels light after my 50lb Dutch tanker!
Roll on tomorrow am and the sunshine!;)

Cheers all! Yep seat is level now. Having bother with the front mech adjustment at the mo. Changes beautifully with no load but is a bugger on the rollers. Tweaks needed.

First fifteen miles. A revelation. Was a bit worried about having a compact with higher gearing than I'm used to but the 3 mile climb that needs lowest gear on my tank was easy without needing the big rear cog so v happy. Much faster than I'm used to.
Very comfy, fast bike with nice handling and takes the crappy Kirklees roads in its stride, even if the council in their wisdom, decided to grit last night?!? Why when they left us literally crawling on all fours this winter due to lack of grit do they use it all up when there's no danger of frost? Good grief.
Anyway, bike is great, gears seem to be sorted and bedding in nicely and only dropped the chain off the inside once so minor tweak to sort that and after this bacon butty I'm off out again!

looks very nice.. but take off the plastic guard at the back

I've heard this recommended before and wonder why bike manufacturers bother with them at all.

Is the plastic guard really intended to serve a purpose or is removal a pure cosmetic thing?

Ha - you're not alone

I have had mine back to the workshop for a service and a gear check and am still fiddling with the front mechanism to find a happy medium when it shift S > L > S beautifully

At the moment its unpredictable - L > S occurs with a audible clunk and works every time, not so the other way
