Google Streetview Car

Was following a google camera car on a Boris bike last week - anyone know how long it takes them to update Streetview with the new pics?

A friend of mine from Iceland saw a google car, pulled out his camera and filmed it driving past. Then about 2 months later he saw himself on google street view. The link to his photo taken from the google car is in the description of the video

Anything from 2 to 6 months I've found. One year I was captured 3 times on the same day!

I was eating a flapjack as it passed me yesterday lunchtime.

Just check, my cottage at home isn't on there, probably it's up a private track. My house in Midlandshire hasn't been updated since 2009, when we only had valve radios and 3G.

I saw it several years ago in Finchley Road. When I checked a while later half that stretch of road was the date I was there and the half I was on was from a year before.
