Don't know where you are renno but there is like a bike museum above his shop in Shotton with lots of nice stuff in it. You may find something like yours there to compare with

Another vote for a bit of TLC and keep for as long as you enjoy it.

There is a caveat, the chainring seems to be getting worn, especially the teeth in the red square.

This not all bad news as the gearing seems to be set up for a fit road rider and if this doesn't suit you this wear is a good excuse to change things. The trouble is two new chainrings, a chain and a cassette will probably come in an a hundred and a bit squid.
