Going clipless on my MTB

Quite a few reviews suggest problems with the end cap popping out on the M424's. I wonder if the 545's might be the choice to make?

Ok, deffo going to get some. I was walking round to school to pick the kids up and came across a chap on his drive working on his Spesh MTB, complete with caged SPD pedals. After a little chat and a look, I think a pair, plus some MTB shoes will go on the Christmas list
