Wokenup at about 6:30 this morning with a bit of a pain in my guts. I thought I was ready for a number 2. The pain gradually got worse and worse. I got to the point were I was almost throwing up with the pain. At 9:00 the GF phoned Docs who said come in. I was seen at about 9:45 and he thinks I probably have a kidney stone.
I'm now taking co-codamol and drinking lots of water and peeing through a seive waiting for it to pass out.
I've never felt anything like it. The Doc told GF that he'd had a woman who had recently had a baby and came in withna kidney stone. She told him this pain was worse.

Nasty. My boss suffers with kidney stones and I've seen the state of him when he's in pain. GWS. If it keeps up, visit your GP again and again until it gets sorted.

I've taken co-codamol and free of pain at the moment. I'm going to try to leave having next dose as near to 10:00 as possible so I don't wake up in pain.
I know my Dad's had several so spoke to him this afternoon. He had 2 within 2 days last year. He also told me my 2 uncle's have also had them so it runs in the family.
Just hoping the cause isn't beer or wine related .

I've never had one but friends who have tell me that the pain is absolutely dreadful. They say that you must have lots of fluids. Hit the beer. Another reason for doing so is that Co-codemol contains codeine which is highly constipating. Lots of fluids help prevent the worst effects.

Get well soon.
