paying lots of money for a pair of gloves is a waste. I get mine from my petrol station (£3.99) or Aldi/Lidle ( about same price ) and they do the job nicely.

Do you have sore hands or cold hands? If the former, maybe you don't need thick winter gloves - spring is coming...honest :cold:

I can't see how a cheap pair of unpadded non cycling gloves will help sore hands as the first post?

I like my Specialized BG Ridge gloves but they are for spring / autumn not winter. Or perhaps get some mitts and liner gloves to go under and then you have something for the summer too

I wear Sealskin EXTREME weather cycling gloves these are around £30 but my what fantastic gloves these are . I have just ridden my first sportive of the year 24/2/13 it was damn cold but my hands were as warm as toast . So buy cheaper gloves if you want but these will be the best you can get and will amaze you .

They are OK. I only use them in the the cold and/or wet. If it is cold, They are also big enough to use the inner gloves. I have some Sealskinz gloves that I use in "normal" weather".

I took the plunge and ordered a pair of Alago's commuting gloves: http://www.alago.co.uk/

You microwave 'em for 15 seconds & they stay warm for one and a half hours. The heat pads are on the back of the hand, so the blood vessels pass the warmth down to your finger ends...

My only 'whinge' is the backs of the gloves are quite bulky, but other than that... Thumbs up!

Says sizes Medium and up are out of stock until 31 March. Pity as I might have went for them.
