I saw Dizzee Rascal once supporting Super Furry Animals - he was excellent and a good time was had by all (i.e. me and the rest of the crowd who were on average about 20 years younger). Needless to say, SFA were also great.

And every time I have been to Glastonbury (or indeed most other large festivals), it's been an embarassment of riches - if you ignore the main stages. There is so much going on at Glastonbury, it's crazy to judge it by what is shown on TV, never mind the fact that being there is entirely different anyway.
God's gravy, the Stones were dull!

No surprises there, then.
I though they were excellent, best band/sound/show so far, by a mile, I didn't expect pensioners to be edgy or exciting so I was not disappointed in any way.

Oh come on! Pensioners? That's going a bit far isn't it? Just because the entire front row of the Rolling Stones set were taken to hospital after inhaling copious amounts of Deep Heat, Ralgex and Werthers Originals there's no need to dis them. They saved the hospital the cost of keeping them warm as they'd all taken their own blankets. And hot water bottles.

There were some horrendous flat spots in their performance.

A couple of the new songs were a bit slow, but I wouldn't call them "horrendous"

oh my word... what a bunch of miserable old gits you are... you don't have to watch Glastonbury, but i guess it gives you something to moan about whilst you're not cycling.

Dizzee was excellent, Chic were excellent, looking forward to Segio Mendes tonight.... in fact, it's all happening at the West Holts stage!

Any song that causes members of the audience to lose interest in the performance and initiate conversations with their pals is a horrendous flat spot in my opinion. I'll think twice before I attend another Muse gig as their boring new songs are likely to displace their more interesting back catalogue.
