I need distance glasses, they are not a strong prescription but I need them. I have some very nice Ray Bans I use in the car but the arms get pushed away from my eyes when I put on my helmet on for riding, they feel strange and I get dust and what not in my eyes, I have some old Adidas wrap around things but I can't get on with the double glazing prescription inserts. What I need are straight thin arms to slide under the helmet straps, with wrap around prescription lenses. Anyone any suggestions?

I so wish i could get wrap rounds with my lens prescription..but nothing really available atm.
as @vickster says ..but you will be paying a few quid for them..but worth it if you cycle a lot.

Midges, green fly etc and muck in your eyes this is a real nuisance

Specsavers do sports glasses with prescription lenses, which you can have made up with tinted lenses. I think the basic price is quite cheap - something under £50. Lots of options, even including having your own number on the side. I'm fairly sure that I had to go in store to look though as they don't seem to be listed on their website.

I got these from them, bit more expensive at £99 but worth every penny: http://www.specsavers.co.uk/glasses/puma-sun-rx-05 - they do have inserts but I've never had a problem with them and I'm normally quite funny with stuff like that.
They come with red iridescent mirrored lenses for when it's sunny, orange lenses for when it's dull or overcast (which work spectacularly well) and clear lenses as well. They keep the wind (and pollen) out of my eyes and fit nicely under my cycling helmet. They also do them in blue, if red isn't your colour.
