I also chose Petacchi.

I did not want to spend the next three weeks in diplomatic negociations with the team, so Cavendish was not in contention. The likelihood of Cavendish gelling with Mr Sastre, and Mr Voigt and Mr Pellizoti is fairly remote IMHO.

In the absence of Alejandro Valverde, I chose Jaoquim Rodrigues.

You've been eating the form books, I can tell.

That's why I've got indigestion.;)

I would have liked to include Menchov, but decided on a more balanced team. Putting 36 points into just two people, would not seem sensible.

Mt reasoning for Cav was that I reckoned they would win TTT and he would hold onto for a few days as he'll either win or be up the front for the first few stages. Which relates to Fantasy scoring. And the TTT also pointed me in the direction of Pinotti and Siutsou (who I reckon will be in contention on a few stages).

Actually looking at my Fantasy team it is very well thought out....I'll be last!

A good win for Columbia and fantastic for Cavendish. Like others I was suprised to see Armstrong lead the team over the line but it does make for an interesting three weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
