Missed all coverage of the stage and highlights. Was it good? Not too surprised as Boasson-Hagen looked very nifty the other day when he was ordered to take the time bonus for 2nd away.

I thought it was a great stage, with 4 out of 5 of the lead group being sprinters it made for an interesting finish.

Just read that LA (and some others too in fairness to him) is having a moan about the course....

"Done with st 7. I've seen it all now. 25 mile fast decent to the finish. In the pissing rain. Makes no sense. The boys in the bunch are livid."

Yesterday was dangerous but you can hardly blame the organisers for the weather! Besides, the riders dictate the pace; they can slow it down if they don't feel comfortable. I didn't see Bertolini having too many problems but maybe he's not one of the boys!

Is Lance a pussy? She he be playing soccer instead!

Wuss!
It's not the first downhill finish I've seen - it just happened to be wet. To be honest the last 20k weren't dangerous anyway.

Is it just me or can anyone else discern a swastika in the Columbia logo? That's one reason I've never bought any of their gear.

Not a swastika IMO.

No one's saying it IS a swastika. Merely that it looks like one. I'm (pretty) sure it's not meant to favour one but someone's dropped a testicle IMO.

No-one except you, apparently!

In fact you feel so strongly about it you won 't buy their kit:rolleyes:

People forget that the swastika is originally an Eastern symbol for luck rather than a 25 year period of German fascism. I can see the shape in the Columbia logo, but I think you are reading far to deeply into it.
