That's aswell as the ever changing route due to the weather... it's shocking.in Italy at the moment !

Still gutted for Tao who looked so good this year...but back to the race.
Fingers crossed I hope G can stay upright until Rome and win this...be a nice addition to his palmares.Cant have many more chances left.
Rogla and Jumbo,he's going to put up a fight and I feel we've not seen a lot of his team yet.Third week will he fail a little.
UAE and Almeida ? He's not really a attacking style rider but can he challenge for the top step.
Bahrain and Caruso...they've definitely got it in them to make this race tough.
The rest have got nothing to lose so I guess we're in for plenty of attacks.

Shame as I was hoping he would garner a few points helping Almeida in the big hills. Hope he and all the other dropouts GWS.

That leaves only 3 teams with a full rider roster - Jumbo, Bahrain and Astana.

I think Almeida could get a podium if he has his climbing legs on. G will have to be at his absolute best to deny Roglic though. I would like to see G win this Giro but it really depends upon Roglic's form - if he's at peak, he'll win it I think.

10km at 7% and then only 18km to finish to get back on if dropped? and a 200m 8% ramp in the final km.

Likely chance for a breakaway to succeed as if ones gets decent lead, there is little incentive for sprinters or GC teams to chase it down.

now if Bling gets in a break.....
