I do actually wonder if Same bike.

The pedal looks different? (And there is no sticker on the crashed crank.)

Seeing as I was 5 miles down the road collecting another bike I made a low ball offers on this Giant Halfway and it got accepted so collected it this morning .

Needs a bit of fettling IE new brake pads , tyre inflation and a general one over I can then do some evaluation miles.

Brakes have been adjusted, wheels have been cleaned, marathon tyres inflated, seat post set up to my height and bar angle adjusted ( still needs a bit of playing with) and a 2 mile road test completed.

Rode well once I got a bit used to it and surprisingly the twist shifter worked well. Need to swap saddle for the next ride .

Lots of frame bracing

Need to get a pair of magnets to keep it folded together.

Popped this on my scales this morning and just over 10 kg

Had a trip to local supermarket recycling centre on this one earlier today.
Only 5.25 miles but all across town so normal territory for a folder.
Coped well with the couple of inclines , cramped cabin so moved bars forward a bit more hate the saddle so need to swap that but otherwise ok .

Popped this on my scales this morning and just over 10 kg

That's pretty good. My ID9 weighed in at 11.6 on my bathroom scales, which is pretty good itself.

Made it lighter by swapping the sofa saddle for a normal road saddle

Just out of interest what distance do you have from seat post to handle bar stem please?

Ooh, offhand I couldn't say. The bikes at Daughter #1s at the moment and she's in Ibiza so I can't even measure it for a week or so.

Ok no worries I just wondered as this seems a bit cramped but got a very long seat post so height doesn't seem an issue certainly not for me anyway

I will measure for you Martin, but won't be until next week or the week after.

I can say it feels short after riding big bikes. Not so short that it's cramped or makes it tricky to handle, it just seemed odd until I'd become accustomed.

Thanks @Drago mine is 49.5 cm and agree re normal bike.
I just feel a bit of a wobble till I get going then it's ok
