Hey! Does anyone on here ride any of them?

I have the Defy 4 in mind, as its with in my price range and hopefully will be good enough for me to compete on in a couple of years.

Any advice?

ive got s 2010 defy and absolutly love it. Really good for the money, plust the entire range has the same frame so easily upgradable. The spec is entry level on the defy 4 so some upgrades may be required to compete. my defy is pretty much standard apart from wheels and carbon forks.

I bought a Defy 4 (2011) just before xmas to leave on the turbo for winter and then use as a commuter in summer, the bike itself is pleasant enough to ride but the groupset (2300) lets it down. At this price though (I paid <400) it is hard to beat new.

I got a 2010 Defy 4 triple to replace my Peugeot steel frame bike for longer rides due to its more upright geometry. It's not the lightest of machines having a Cr-Mo fork (I think the 2012 one has carbon and the new Defy 5 has an alu fork), but is comfy and a good all rounder with 25c tyres, mudguard eyes and rack mounts.

There's some good alternatives around at the moment. This is nice for under £500

I've got a Defy 2.5 triple. I think it's great but it's the only road bike I've ever had so can't compare it with anything else.

Thanks guys, some great information for me there. I was suggested this Defy range at my LBS because they are good bikes for the price.

I will probably get a Defy 4 and eventually upgrade for competition.

Thanks

I'll have a look around and see what I can get. Even the the Defy is a good enough bike for now, if I can save money and get a bike just as good then even better.

Thanks
