I was only trying to offer help based on my own experiences with a Giant Defy.
With me having the exact same measurements as the op and I've since done 3000 comfy miles on my Defy
Sometimes what feels right in a test ride may not necessarily be the same after a 1000 miles.
When I had a bike fit on my latest bike they also recommended a 56 or ML in Giant speak.
